With the option of upgrading to a Digital teresstrial system or a Satellite and Terestrial system we have an upgrade solution to suit you. Upgrading the communal aerial system using a DTT (Digital Terestrial Television) System will allow residents to access Digital TV via a set top box, which can be purchased from a high street retailer. The ‘plug and play'concept of the set top box allows residents to access BBC FreeviewTM, which provides approximately 30 Digital TV and radio channels without subscription.
An IRS (Integrated Reception System) is normally preferred where existing communal aerial systems are ageing or when demand for digital satellite services are high. Although an IRS system requires a new cable network along with access to individual flats, it offers residents the optimum choice of digital platforms and is widely acknowledged as the best long term option.
